In this installment of God of War, Kratos has left behind the world of Greek mythology and now lives in the realm of Norse gods and monsters. Years after his battles with the Olympians, Kratos tries to live a quiet life with his son Atreus, following the death of his wife.
Their peace doesn’t last long. They embark on a journey to fulfill her final wish: to scatter her ashes from the highest peak in the Nine Realms. Along the way, they face dangerous creatures, Norse gods, and painful truths about their past.
